I can’t believe how busy its been since the holidays.
My wife was in a wedding party, and I was sort of on call to help out with a number of things, meaning last minute hands-on type stuff. I designed the wedding invites, and some other items for the winter wedding. Although I didn’t really draw the design myself, it was modified from a piece the couple liked online.
The wedding was on the 2nd, which meant set-up was on the 1st, which meant the 31st was not going to be a heavy night of partying. I don’t think my wife was too thrilled at that prospect, but c’est la vie.
My birthday was on the 3rd, on a Sunday, but we were bagged after the wedding and ended up just going to dinner, getting rot-gut and going to bed early. Then back at em the following morning for work. Real fun.
Anyway - work has been pretty hectic, my blog remained unattended and I had a pile of stuff to plow through. I just finished up a ‘How to Draw Batman’ series at idrawdigital. Here’s the final piece.

Its the first piece I’ve finished for the New Year. Next up is to finish my Wolverine tute, and get on some comics. I have a neat little plan for rolling them out too, and I’ve re-planned a number of the panels. I’m really excited about it!
