Yeah - I’m not liking the direction of the comic. It just feels too hokey. I wanted to shift the style to something simpler so I could rattle it off faster and get it out there - but its been nagging me for the last year and a bit.

Today I decided I’m going back to my roots and doing the noir photorealistic style (a la Bradstreet) like I intended. I will update you on the further process. In other news, the new rig should be in next week - right before Christmas. I’m stoked.

Tomorrow officially starts the ‘holiday’ portion of the season. My wife’s Christmas party has arrived, then I have my staff party the following night, then this weekend we are looking after our friend’s two daughters (we usually have them over for Christmas movies etc). The entire week will probably fly by since it will be nice and quiet.

All my presents are wrapped (minus one large unwrappable one) and I’m ready for my week off from work. Maybe with a new machine and some Christmas cheer, I’ll be able to get more productive… we’ll see!
